So for those of you who were wondering about how I made the RFB's, which I think was only my brother but I am still going to talk about it on a quite public soapbox, here is the recipe:
No Recipe!!!
Well, at least not yet. I include pinto beans, cumin, oregano, garlic, cayenne, canola oil, and salt. Oh, and a masher. Soak your beans over night, cook them (boil 10 min, simmer 1-1.5 hours), mash beans into hot oiled pan or Dutch oven, add flavorings and water (possibly the water the beans were cooked in) and simmer down to desired consistency. You can use a lot of cumin. It adds a mild sweetness that helps to balance the starchiness of the beans. And you don't really need all that much salt or oil. I think I might need some onion in there. But alas, I have not found an exact recipe yet. I know, lame. Well, here's a different recipe:
2. Simmer beans 1-2 hours.
3. Dice and sauté 1 onion.
4. Brown and drain 1 ½ lbs. meat.
5. Add all ingredients to large pot with:

Postlogue
For those of you feeling let down that you have actually read this entire post, it just goes to show that one can create an entirely boring post without simply recounting their day or starting with the phrase "Long time, no post." That doesn't look right. I need to learn me somes writin' rules.
