My grandparents saw Fahrenheit 9/11 recently. They were kinda surprised that it came to their town. They live in Brevard, North Carolina. It is a fairly small, quite conservative town. There is only one screen (yes, screen, not theatre, screen) in the town. The film was only shown during the day with more mainstream stuff being shown at night.
So my grandparents saw it. The next day my grandfather, veteran of the US Army and World War II, went down to the voting registrar and became Unaffiliated.
